Specializing in manufacturing heat transfer fluids (cooling media), we often face tasks of checking the suitability of a heat transfer fluid for further operation or simply determining parameters of fluid, which is filled in the system.

Our company provides services for analysis of operating heat transfer fluids.

List of coolants, which we work with: coolants based on ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerin; water.

The complex of work on analysis and long-term monitoring of operated heating medium may include the following:

  • Analysis of physical and chemical, technical and operational characteristics;
  • Assessment of biological contamination;
  • Overall assessment of system problems;
  • Recommendations on addressing problems.

The most common problems:

  1. Determine what fluid the system if filled with (ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerin, alcohol, etc.)
  2. Determine freezing temperature.
  3. Determine the presence of corrosion inhibitors.

The results of works are drawn in the form of a report with the application of test reports or in the form of statements.
A sample of the heat transfer fluid is needed for the analysis.

The cost of work is determined in each case individually, depending on the agreed composition of tests.

Heat transfer fluids are products, which are operated for a long time. Over time, when operating under extreme conditions, as well as when foreign substances appear in the heat transfer fluids, their composition changes, which affects their suitability for operation. But often when the problem is discovered «in the bud», adverse consequences may be prevented by eliminating their causes and/or correcting composition of the heat transfer fluid.

For prompt detection of potential problems periodic monitoring of heat transfer fluids is used, which includes analysis of the heat transfer fluids composition at specified intervals, comparison of studied parameters values, the analysis of causes of changing of the parameters and the search for ways to restore the functionality of the heat transfer fluids.
