Heat transfer fluids for air conditioning and industrial refrigeration

Heat transfer fluids for air conditioning and industrial refrigeration are selected depending on the type of the site where cooling is required, as well as in accordance with recommendations of the manufacturer of refrigeration equipment that is installed on such site.

Selection may be performed between heat transfer fluids based on propylene glycol and heat transfer fluids based on ethylene glycol. The first are environmentally friendly; the latter are moderately toxic, but have better thermal characteristics.

For temperatures below −300С, antifreeze FREEZIUM on the base of potassium formiate may be used.
